A Conference Made for You

If your work or business involves anti–terrorism, explosives disposal, or explosives investigation, then the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI) International In-Service Training Conference is designed for you. The IABTI is comprised of more than 5,000 members from 61 nations around the world. Together we come together and share one goal: our responsibility as explosives professionals to continually safeguard the public from the dangerous and criminal use of explosives. Therefore, collectively, we ARE “61 Nations with 1 Mission.”

The IABTI is the only professional association in the world that addresses the professional challenges of the Technician and Investigator in depth. The conference will be attended by explosives professionals from around the world. They will attend to hear lectures given by experienced and respected speakers from a variety of explosives-related backgrounds, to view exhibits of the latest equipment for bomb disposal and investigation, and to make valuable contacts with other explosives professionals in the industry. This conference will enable you to do your job better.

 

Annual BDC Meeting

This year’s conference will include the annual meeting of the Bomb Data Centers of the world. The IABTI has invited representatives from BDCs around the globe to participate and share their experiences, concerns and successes in countering terrorism.

 

Speakers

Most of the conference speakers have official duties which require them to be available to respond to unforeseen incidents. Therefore, the conference program is subject to change without notice.

In the event that a speaker is required to cancel, the IABTI will make every effort to substitute another qualified speaker on the same or related subject.
